** Day and night shifts available; 4 weekend days every 4 weeks; no call required
** Highlights:** - Patient ratios: 4:1 for medical/surgical patients on 14-22 bed unit
- Typical patient mix includes cleft palate repair, appendectomy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, seizure management, and thoracic cases
- Services include neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, and noninvasive cardiology- EMR system:
Meditech
- Team-focused, collaborative environment where every staff member supports one another
- May float to NICU Level 1 or 2 only
** Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license- BLS certification (required)- PALS certification (required)- ACLS certification (preferred)- Pediatric medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
