What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
  • Support veterinarians in providing exceptional medical care to patients
  • Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely handle and restrain patients while prioritizing their comfort and well-being
  • Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate
  • Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction
  • Assist with surgical preparation, procedures, anesthesia, and patient recovery as appropriate to your skill level
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets’ care
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
  • Anticipate the needs of veterinarians and teammates to promote efficient hospital workflow
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and patient-care areas
  • Share your knowledge, skills, and experience with teammates
  • Support a positive workplace culture built on teamwork and mutual respect
