The Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance and Performance Outcomes for the Operations Department.
Serves as the agency's lead for compliance operations, accreditation readiness, and quality assurance support, ensuring consistent adherence to required standards, including CACTX, National Children's Alliance (NCA), HIPAA, and grant compliance obligations.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff and HIPAA Security Officer, this role provides ongoing operational oversight of compliance activities, including tracking training completions, documentation readiness, quality assurance reviews, and compliance reporting support. The position functions as the administrative execution layer for enterprise compliance readiness and accreditation preparation, ensuring leadership has timely visibility into compliance status and organizational gaps.
About DCAC:
The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC is a non-profit organization and the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working in agreement with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County.
We reduce the victimization of the child, remove barriers to investigation and treatment, and enhance criminal prosecution with our distinctive multidisciplinary and united approach to these complex and severe cases, all at no cost to our clients. Each year, DCAC serves over 13,000 children and their non-offending family members.
We are a national and international leader in the Children's Advocacy Center movement, recognized for our expertise in the identification, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse cases; cutting edge clinical services and programs for the victims and their non-offending family members; and our community and professional training programs.
Essential Duties and
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of cross-functional initiatives that operationalize DCAC's strategic plan through coordinated processes, compliance requirements, and follow-through.
- Serve as an operational partner to executive leadership by supporting accountability, consistency, and tracking of enterprise priorities.
- Provide compliance-informed insights and operational observations to support leadership in identifying risks, prioritizing initiatives, and improving organizational performance.
- Coordinate implementation of organizational initiatives requiring cross-departmental alignment, tracking, and documentation.
- Support annual strategic review and assessment processes by organizing inputs, tracking progress indicators, and compiling required documentation.
- Maintain, review, and monitor agency policies and standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with CACTX, NCA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
Compliance, Quality Assurance & Accreditation Operations:
- Support agency-wide compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and funding requirements, including CACTX, NCA, HIPAA, and grant obligations, under the direction of the Chief of Staff and HIPAA Security Officer.
- Monitor compliance readiness by tracking required training completion, certifications, and documentation using the learning management system (LMS) and other established systems; identify and communicate gaps to appropriate leaders for resolution.
- Utilize LMS reporting and records, in partnership with the Education team, to conduct ongoing compliance monitoring, audits, and readiness tracking.
- Maintain structured tracking systems to support compliance monitoring, accreditation readiness, and site visit preparation.
- Partner with the Education team to coordinate required compliance-related trainings, ensuring scheduling aligns with organizational needs and accreditation requirements.
