** Position Overview*
* Join a Fortune 500 company leading the world in diagnostic information services! Currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Scientist I specializing in Auto-Chemistry, welcoming candidates ranging from entry-level to experienced professionals.

** Job Responsibilities*
* + Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, result reporting, and record maintenance.

+ Maintain records demonstrating that proficiency testing samples are tested identically to patient specimens.

+ Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.

+ Review and release test results accurately.

+ Comply with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable safety guidelines.

+ Follow established policies and procedures when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels.

+ Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or reporting or immediately notify senior technologists/supervisors.

** BS/BA in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required.

* Work Experience:

** 1 year of clinical experience (high complexity testing) in Auto-Chemistry.
