Position Title: QC Trainer / Support
Location: Dallas, Texas
The Quality Trainer / Support role is responsible for providing flexible coverage across key Quality Control (QC) functions, including QC Inspection, Batch Release, and Receiving Inspection, whilst being responsible for the coordination and delivery of QC-related training. This role ensures continuity of quality operations during absences or peak workloads, and actively supports the development and consistency of QC practices across the site.
This position will report directly to the Quality Control Team Leader.
- Provides cross-functional QC support: covers QC Inspectors, Batch Release and Receiving Inspection duties during absences or peak workloads
- Maintains training and competency across multiple QC roles to ensure continuity of operations, in line with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Provides QC-related training on procedures, documentation, GMP expectations, and inspection practices
- Provides real-time coaching, guidance, and onboarding support
- Assists with improving training material, SOPs and QC processes
- Identifies and escalates training gaps or process deviations
- Supports cross-training initiatives to strengthen Quality department flexibility
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years relevant experience or an associate degree with experience
- Strong QC knowledge, ability to train others, and capability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Experience in QC Inspector, Receiving Inspection, or Batch Release roles
- Familiarity with GMP requirements and ISO standards (ISO 13485)
- Prior training, mentoring and quality systems experience
- Strong communication, coaching skills, and adaptability across tasks and roles
- Reliable, accountable, and able to identify and help resolve process or training gaps
