Position Title: QC Associate

Description:

The Quality Associate role is an entry-level position responsible for supporting day-to-day activities with a primary focus on sample management, documentation support, and basic quality system activities. This position will report directly to the Quality Control Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and manage retain samples, external test samples, and incoming laboratory results
• Track stability studies and perform routine checks on stability chambers and basic laboratory equipment
• Support nonconforming material processes, maintaining organized quality documentation
• Perform document reconciliation for production floor records
• Serve as scribe (front room) and / or provide back room support during audits and regulatory inspections
• Help prepare audit materials and manage documentation requests

Qualifications:

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or quality-related role
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or similar quality system standards
• Experience with documentation control, ERP systems (SAP) and quality systems
• Basic understanding of scientific or laboratory concepts (e.g. sample handling, stability studies)
• Strong organizational skills, time management and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment
• Flexibility in responding to changing priorities
