Position Summary

Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • ISO Standards & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external certification audits.
  • Develop and update quality documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Quality Control & Assurance
  • Design and monitor quality control systems across production lines.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and validation of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry regulations.
  • Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Apply quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and 8D methodology.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality standards and tools.
  • Support new product development with quality planning and risk assessment.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949 if automotive).
  • Proficiency in quality tools: SPC, FMEA, Control Charts, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of Basic Quality Tools such as 8D, 5-Why, SCAR, Calibration etc
Qualification
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering
