Overview

Nucentra Solutions is urgently seeking a recently graduated or about to graduate Quality Control Junior Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a motivated professional who can lead projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and inspect for quality assurance at all levels here at our plant. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and well‑structured test plans for manufacturing processes related to acoustic enclosures, power generator packaging, exhaust systems, liquid storage tanks, power and E‑houses
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and certifications in accordance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for non-conformance issues. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve design, manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Lead training sessions for production staff on quality control methods and best practices.
  • Manage supplier quality assurance and conduct vendor audits as needed.
  • Monitor the identification, traceability, and proper storage of incoming materials.
  • Inspect incoming materials in accordance with project specifications.
  • Update and tag asset management for all equipment and tools throughout the organization to ensure accurate identification, traceability, and control.
  • Conduct calibration of all equipment and instruments at defined intervals and maintain and update the master list to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and control the implementation of the Quality Management System to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain procedures and formats for the Quality Management System to ensure consistency, control, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (CFT) to define and implement Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Root Cause Analyses (RCA), ensuring effective resolution and prevention of recurring issues.
  • Comply with and uphold ISO policies and procedures to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and regularly update CAR trackers to verify the effectiveness of Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) actions and ensure timely closure.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplaces and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
  • Promote a safety culture by providing training sessions on occupational health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with the HSE department to align quality and safety initiatives.
Quality Engineer KPIs
  • NCR & FPY:
    Maintain Non‑Conformance Rate 2% and First Pass Yield 95%.
  • Corrective Actions:
    Close CARs within 10 days and prevent recurrence.
  • Supplier Quality:
    Keep Supplier Defect Rate 2% through audits and inspections.
  • Calibration Compliance:
    Ensure 100% timely calibration of all instruments.
  • Documentation Accuracy:
    Maintain 98% accuracy in ISO‑compliant records.
  • Audit Performance:
    Achieve zero major non‑conformities.
  • Material Traceability:
    Ensure proper identification, storage, and tracking of all materials.
  • HSE Compliance:
    Maintain zero safety incidents and follow all HSE regulations.
Benefits and Hours

The hours are M‑F 7am - 4pm. This is a hand‑on role. You will be working on‑site in the shop area.

You will receive 10 paid holidays annually and accrue 1 week of paid vacation in the first year and 2 weeks of paid vacation during years 2-5. There are no medical or dental benefits offered, or any other.

You will need to undergo a background check, that must come back squeaky clean along with a drug test.
