Business Support Specialist, Technical Writer

The Technical Writer will work hand in hand with the SMEs to create simplified work instructions, playbooks and quality alerts by utilizing the client SOPs and QABs. The Technical Writer will report to the Quality Department while supporting the Program Management & Leadership Teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receive SOPs from the client and organize for transference to SWI templates
- Write simplified SWI's by utilizing SOPs
- Update SWI's by working with site leadership, SMEs/Supes
- Support teams in writing Playbooks for leadership roles or programs
- Submit drafts to SMEs for approval
- Track document update closure for timely implementation
- Submit documents to document control
- Support the quality team with internal audits
- Other duties as deemed necessary by manager
Education & Experience: The successful candidate for this role must possess an in-depth understanding of level 1 and level 2 documentation, be proficient in organizational skills, possess team spirit, successful communication with a varying audience, and must be proficient with computer applications. They should be able to orchestrate multiple projects and be able to prioritize as demand dictates. They will be professional, career driven, detail oriented and have strong computer skills.
They will prepare detailed work instructions for operations and coordinate with SMEs for approvals and updates.

A.A/A.S or equivalent hands‑on experience

Must wear composite-toed boots, hearing protection, ability to travel by car or plane, high frequency of computer keyboarding, high frequency of viewing a computer monitor, etc.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed primarily in office during day and night shifts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.

Compensation and BenefitsThe expected base pay range is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
