We are seeking a Product Quality Manager to join our R&D organization responsible for broadband products (Internet Gateways), operating in a global engineering environment with teams located in the US, France, and offshore development centers.
In this role, you will own and drive the local Product Quality strategy for the US, ensuring corporate quality processes are consistently applied, while actively contributing to the continuous improvement and modernization of quality practices.
You will also ensure that products comply with North American regulatory requirements, and proactively track and implement changes driven by regulatory bodies such as FCC, UL, and other applicable authorities.

Your main responsibilities include:Product Quality Strategy & Governance
- Deploy the Product Quality strategy across the entire product lifecycle
- Maintain, and proactively propose improvement of quality processes, standards, and governance frameworks
- Define, track, and report quality plans, KPIs, and performance indicators
- Proactively propose and lead improvements to quality methods, tools, and processes, supporting their modernization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating action plans with project, R&D, and industrialization teams
- Ensure rigorous application of problem‑solving methodologies (5 Whys, 8D, structured root cause analysis)
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with defined processes and standards
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements
- Act as the quality authority for:
- product release approvals
- technical documentation and technical compliance / justification files
- Identify applicable regulatory requirements and support development teams before they arise
- Build technical compliance files and prepare Declarations of Conformity
- Coordinate with certification bodies (e.g., UL, FCC) to obtain product approvals
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized US or international university
- 10+ years of industry experience in product quality, project quality, or quality management within complex engineering environments
- Experience in broadband, networking, or embedded systems is a strong plus
- Significant experience in Product Quality or Project Quality, ideally in an industrial environment such as:
- Strong process‑driven mindset and experience operating in complex development environments
- Solid knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies, such as:
- Good understanding of product and software development life cycles
- Experience with quality KPIs, audits, and compliance management and release governance
- Strong analytical skills to interpret regulations, standards, and their product impact
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Demonstrates strong process rigor and process discipline
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to engage and align multi‑site, cross‑functional teams
- Strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
- Autonomous, proactive, and capable of driving high‑impact quality decisions
