Role: QA Lead / QA Manager

Onsite

• Lead and manage QA activities across multiple software projects.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and testing processes.
• Lead functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Perform and support API testing using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
• Work closely with development, Dev Ops, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops processes.
• Write and execute SQL queries for database validation and backend testing.
• Utilize Python and Java for test automation and scripting as required.
• Develop and execute API and service-level automated tests using Karate.
• Work with Ignite and other relevant enterprise technologies as required.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Provide QA status reports, metrics, risk assessments, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor QA engineers and provide technical guidance on testing and automation best practices.
• Ensure testing standards, quality processes, and documentation are consistently followed.

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Previous experience as a QA Lead, QA Manager, Test Lead, or Senior QA Engineer.
• Mandatory:
  Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with JavaScript and Selenium.
• Experience with API Testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Dev Ops practices.
• Strong SQL and database testing experience.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Experience with Karate for API automation/testing.
• Experience with Ignite is preferred/required based on project needs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
