Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QA) with strong expertise in API Automation Testing, API Functional & Performance Testing, Test Management, Defect Tracking, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through comprehensive test planning, automation, execution, and defect management.

This role requires hands-on experience in API automation frameworks, testing tools, Agile processes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Must be local to Dallas and should work from Client office 5 days a week.

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Create and execute automated test scenarios using Karate Framework, Selenium, and Gherkin (BDD).
• Perform API functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman and automation frameworks.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and document test results.
• Log, track, prioritize, and verify defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Dev Ops teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and release validation activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation coverage.
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $40.09/hour - $62.63/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
