Mechatronics QA Engineer II–III

Dallas–Fort Worth, TX / Logan, UT (On Site)

• Execute manual and automated test cases for integrated mechatronic systems in laboratory and field environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation protocols.
• Perform troubleshooting and defect analysis across mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software components.
• Conduct root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Document test results, defects, and validation activities using test management and bug-tracking tools.
• Support user acceptance testing, performance validation, and system verification activities.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in refining QA methodologies and best practices.
• Support test setup, execution, teardown, and reporting activities.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and testing of mechatronic systems.
• Strong experience validating integrated mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in test design, execution, defect tracking, and system integration testing.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex system-level issues.
• Exposure to scripting and automation tools such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering environments.

• Up to 20% travel for field testing, validation activities, customer interaction, and test leadership responsibilities.
