Job SummaryAs an Electrical QA/QC Technician at Loenbro, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met throughout our electrical projects. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and quality control measures to maintain our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a robust QA/QC program for electrical projects, including review of project plans and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and materials to verify compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Perform electrical testing, measurements, and functional checks to ensure the integrity, safety, and reliability of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and any non‑conformance issues. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to project managers and clients.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality‑related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support to project personnel regarding quality and safety standards, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications- 1–3 years of previous experience in QA/ QC roles within the electrical industry.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of testing equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- OSHA‑10 or higher and other safety certifications highly preferred.
The position may require travel to various project sites. Mostly outdoors, with potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Construction environment. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Walking on uneven terrain, approximately 2 miles per day.
- Standing, sitting for long periods, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs and ladders, and kneeling.
This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
