The SQM IQC Inspector is responsible for reviewing and inspecting incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves documenting inspection results, highlighting anomalies, and supporting corrective actions. The inspector works closely with SQM Group Leaders and other departments to maintain accurate records and ensure proper material disposition.

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess the quality and compliance of materials.
• Document and report inspection results, highlighting any deviations or non-conformities to relevant departments for corrective action.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve inspection processes.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
• Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during inspection activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree or certification in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with Statistical Quality Management (SQM) methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to quality control and inspection processes.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in inspection tasks.
• Ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
