Senior Land Agent

JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an opportunity for a Sr. ROW/Land Agent to support our Real Estate Management Services Team.

• Analyze parcels to evaluate potential problems
• Negotiate acquisition of real property to achieve closing and meet schedule requirements
• Manage multiple ROW acquisition projects simultaneously while meeting client scope, budget, and schedule requirements
• Conduct county record searches for property information
• Review title and identify potential issues
• Provide proper documentation as required by the client
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Self‑starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work in team situations
• Detail‑oriented, proactive individual who takes ownership of their work
• Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required;
  Excel experience is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience

• Licensed by Texas Real Estate Commission required
• IRWA certification is a plus
• A minimum of 10 years of experience is required in land acquisition; knowledge of TxDOT policy and procedures is a plus
