Role Description
Holiner is seeking a Brokerage Intern to join our team in Dallas. This is an in-office internship designed for a driven student or early-career candidate pursuing a path in commercial real estate brokerage. The intern will support day-to-day brokerage activities, learn the fundamentals of the transaction process, and gain hands-on experience across retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assignments. You will work directly alongside the founder and senior brokers, shadowing live deals while building the research, analytical, and relationship skills required to succeed as a broker.
This internship is structured as a training ground for the Associate Broker career path.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, surveys, and comparable (comp) analysis to support active deals
- Build prospect and lead lists and support canvassing, prospecting, and outreach effort
- Prepare tour packages, listing materials, and property information for clients and prospects
- Support letters of intent (LOIs), deal documentation, and transaction coordination under supervision
- Shadow senior brokers on property tours, client meetings, and live negotiations
- Maintain an understanding of demographics, traffic patterns, and market trends
- Track competitor data, rental rates, and active transactions in the CRM
- Contribute to client strategy discussions and firm business development initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (Business or Real Estate preferred)
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial real estate brokerage
- Working toward or willing to pursue a Texas Real Estate License (a plus, not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship-building, organizational, and analytical skills
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with a team
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
