Position: POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER - Physiology - Mountoufaris Lab
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER - Physiology Department (Mountoufaris Lab):
To study the molecular and circuit-level mechanisms that regulate persistent affective states in both the healthy and diseased brain.

Candidates should have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Slice electrophysiology:
Including data analysis methods using MATLAB and/or Python

* In vivo imaging:
Calcium and/or neurotransmitter imaging techniques, including data analysis

* Quantative behavioral analysis:

Experience with rodent behavioral and automated tracking platforms (e.g., SimBA, Deep Lab Cut , etc.)

* Molecular neurobiology:
Proteomics and/or transcriptions, and related bioinformatics and statistical analysis (R studio, Python, etc.)

Must provide:

* CV

* Brief statement of research experience

* Names and contact information of 2-3 references
