Corner Stone Professional Placement is seeking a Qualitative Researcher – Consumer Insights for a client in the DFW area. This opportunity is ideal for a research professional with hands-on experience in qualitative research, consumer insights, user research, or customer research who enjoys speaking directly with participants and uncovering the “why” behind their experiences.
The ideal candidate is a skilled interviewer who can step into an established research initiative, conduct thoughtful one-on-one interviews, synthesize feedback, and partner with an existing research team to identify meaningful themes and insights.
Must-Have Experience- 2+ years of qualitative, consumer, user, customer, or market research experience
- Hands-on experience conducting and moderating one-on-one interviews
- Experience executing qualitative research within an established research plan
- Experience synthesizing participant feedback and identifying themes, patterns, and insights
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple interviews and research activities
- Ability to work onsite in the DFW area 3 days per week
- Conduct one-on-one qualitative interviews with customers, prospective customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Execute qualitative research activities within established research plans and objectives.
- Support participant recruiting and research coordination.
- Capture, organize, and synthesize feedback gathered through research sessions.
- Identify recurring themes, patterns, and insights from qualitative findings.
- Manage multiple interviews and research activities while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with existing researchers to support project timelines and research goals.
- Contribute qualitative findings that may help inform future quantitative research.
- Support additional consumer and customer research activities as business needs evolve.
- Approximately 2–3 years of relevant research experience preferred.
- Background in qualitative research, consumer insights, user research, customer research, or market research.
- Strong interviewing and moderation skills.
- UX/user research experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience with Qualtrics, User Testing, Medallia, or comparable research/survey platforms is helpful but not required.
- Exposure to quantitative research or survey methodologies is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on qualitative research: Spend meaningful time conducting interviews and engaging directly with research participants.
- Interesting consumer research: Help uncover customer needs, preferences, and insights that can inform future business initiatives.
