Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Biomedical Science
We are hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Neuroimaging to join the Reward Dynamics Laboratory at The University of Texas at Dallas.
Our laboratory investigates the neural mechanisms underlying reward, motivation, decision-making, and behavior change, with a particular emphasis on substance use and addiction. We integrate multimodal neuroimaging—including functional and structural MRI, connectivity analyses, and complementary behavioral and physiological measures to understand individual differences in reward-related processes and identify targets for intervention.
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher with:- A Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, or a related field
- Experience analyzing human neuroimaging data, particularly fMRI
- Strong quantitative, programming, and scientific-writing skills
- Interest in reward processing, addiction, decision-making, or computational neuroscience
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience with advanced neuroimaging methods, computational modeling, machine learning, or multimodal data integration is especially welcome.
The position offers opportunities to lead publications, develop independent research directions, collaborate across UT Dallas and UT Southwestern, and contribute to innovative studies of reward dynamics and human behavior.
