Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Biomedical Science
Our laboratory studies the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular conditions associated with metabolic dysfunction, with emphasis on cardiac remodeling, arrhythmia, and cardiometabolic disease. The postdoc will study the molecular mechanisms of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and atrial fibrillation (AF). The postdoc is expected to design and perform various experiments in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, transcriptomics, and cardiovascular physiology, analyzedata, and communicate results both orally and in publications.
Also, is also expected to collaborate with other researchers.
- Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Experience in cardiovascular research, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry is preferred.
- Strong record of research productivity, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm for collaborative, rigorous science.
