Dishwasher - Over Under at The Village Dallas

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast‑paced culinary environment. To be successful, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are broken or spilled.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the leader.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimal work experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
• Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
