The Kitchen Supervisor leads the culinary team to deliver elevated dining experiences that reflect the Chase Sapphire Lounge brand. This role is ideal for an experienced culinary professional with leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will oversee kitchen operations, mentor staff, and ensure every dish meets premium standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
Your Impact- Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members to maintain operational excellence.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timely delivery of all menu items.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
- Collaborate with F&B, concierge, and lounge leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Monitor inventory, manage prep schedules, and maintain organized kitchen operations.
- Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members during meal periods and special events.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timely delivery of all menu items.
- Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and adherence to Chase Sapphire Lounge standards.
- Conduct quality control, taste checks, and visual inspections of all dishes.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and safely used.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules, portioning, and prep lists.
- Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during normal business operations.
- Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
- Facilitate orientation and training of new employees.
- Work directly with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
- Monitor inventory, manage prep schedules, and maintain organized kitchen operations.
- Comply with all Sodexo safety, risk management, and operational policies.
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements.
- 3+ years culinary experience, including supervisory or leadership roles in upscale dining, hospitality, or lounge environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to a safe, respectful, and high-performing workplace.
- Professional appearance and presence consistent with premium hospitality.
