One of our sister locations, a private steakhouse, is looking for an experienced Upscale Line Cook, experienced in Fine Dining, to join our team!

Compensation is $20 hourly.

Hours:

Monday-Friday (afternoon/PM shift)

Cook Responsibilities:

Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.

Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.

Cook according to food health and safety standards.

Handling multiple food orders at one time.

Ensure great presentation and food quality before serving the food.

Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.

Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner.

Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a restaurant cook. (Minimum 6 years)

Previous experience working in a fine dining establishment.

Valid Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain)

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Self-motivated and self-directed.

Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders.

Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.

Effective communication skills.

Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

Authorized to work in the United States.
