Welcome to Meridian, a vibrant dining destination where the art of live fire grilling meets the flavors of the world. Created by a remarkably talented chef, this restaurant reimagines American cuisine by blending bold, smoky elements with global inspirations.

A server assistant accommodates guests by setting and maintaining organization throughout the Front of House and Back of House areas. He/She will primarily assist both the host and server teams to ensure fluidity and proper preparation throughout service.

• Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Prepare dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables; setting decorations, condiments, candles, linen, service plates, and utensils
• Protect restaurant and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
• Maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing damaged or soiled pages
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needs
• Support server by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash container liners and service/bus stations
• Close dining room by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors and removing trash and recyclables from the facility
• Update job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader

• High School Diploma or related preferred
• Minimum 3+ years experience in a high‑end restaurant preferred
• Current Food Handler’s certification
• Friendly, courteous, and well‑spoken
• Works well with a team
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
• An appetite for growth and further knowledge in the food and beverage field
• Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit
