Position

Summary

As a Bartender at Mesero, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be an ambassador of our beverage and food selections, offering recommendations while making cocktails with precision and care. Our bartenders play a critical role in contributing to the overall guest experience by delivering excellent service with a welcoming smile and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guest according to Mesero's recipes and service standards.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, taking orders, offering drink recommendations, and engaging in conversation to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout each shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol service regulations, including checking guest identification and managing guest consumption responsibly.
  • Efficiently use a point-of-sale (POS) system to ring in orders, process payments, and make change.
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including both drinks and food, and be able to assist guests with questions or suggestions.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner and elevate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar is preferred.
  • Up to date certifications required by state regulations
  • Strong knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and wine/beer selections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest hospitality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation.
