The Staff Pad is looking for a Part-Time Design/Retail Sales Associate to join Wallpapers Galore! • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock checks
• Engage customers through active communication skills, offering personalized recommendations and support for their needs

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred, especially in retail/design or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with customers
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
