• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning seafood display cases, as well as cleaning, filling, and rotating the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.

Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory demands typical of a fast‑paced grocery store.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
