• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the shift.
• Clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
• The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts; the morning shift begins by replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a specifically assigned area.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift and ensure a safe, organized work environment.

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position consists of two different shifts. The morning shift begins the day replenishing product, as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, in a specifically assigned area.

The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerks will also maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
