• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, with physical requirements including lifting, standing, walking and kneeling.
