Job Summary: Central Market is seeking a Production Representative available on days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest, highest‑quality ingredients.

Assignments will vary by Department in the store.

• Duties of this position include:
• Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking of products
• Ensuring quality control of all products before sending to the sales floor
• Maintaining sanitation in the department
• Maintaining organization of back storage, freezer, walk‑in, and production area
• Reading and executing daily production list
• Providing customer service as required, such as answering questions and taking orders on the phone
• Assisting in monitoring the quality of goods and monitoring shrinkage
• Ordering and receiving products and supplies
• Maintaining transfer records
• Preparing, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously
• Demonstrating or preparing customer samples for self‑serve
• Providing superlative customer service
• Using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

• Experience with commercial production – Preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Required
• Ability to handle stressful situations – Required
• Good verbal and written communication skills – Required
• Knowledge and preparation of baking goods – Preferred
• Values diversity – Required

• Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs); bend, reach, push, and pull
• Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
