Job summary:
The Store Manager/Market Manager will lead the launch and ongoing success of our Dallas, TX boutique. This role is ideal for a strong retail leader who thrives in a remote market environment and brings a deep understanding of the local landscape. As the leader of this location, the Store Manager will act as both a strategic business driver and brand ambassador.
Responsible for building the business from the ground up, cultivating a loyal client base, and establishing L’AGENCE within the Dallas market. Operating with a high level of autonomy, this individual will partner closely with corporate teams while serving as the primary representative of the brand in the region.
This is a unique opportunity to launch and shape a key market for L’AGENCE. As a Store Manager of Dallas, you will play a foundational role in building brand presence, developing a high-performing team, and driving meaningful business growth with the support of a global luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary leader and decision‑maker for the Dallas market, operating with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing L’AGENCE within the local community and broader market.
- Drive financial performance by analyzing retail KPIs and executing strategic action plans to achieve and exceed goals.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, scheduling, visual merchandising, client service, and back‑of‑house processes.
- Partner cross‑functionally with HQ teams (Operations, Visual, CRM, HR, Merchandising, Retail Training) to ensure alignment while independently driving the business forward.
- Build and maintain a strong, positive, and performance‑driven team culture.
- Lead all client acquisition and retention efforts, building a highly engaged and loyal client base from the ground up.
- Deliver and uphold an elevated, personalized client experience across all touchpoints (in‑store, virtual, and events).
- Resolve client concerns with professionalism and a solution‑oriented approach.
- Oversee client consignment processes, ensuring efficiency, strong performance, and timely execution.
- Leverage deep knowledge of the Dallas market to identify opportunities for brand growth and visibility.
- Build and maintain a strong network of local taste makers, stylists, influencers, and business partners.
- Plan and execute in‑store events and activations in partnership with HQ to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
- Act as the face of L’AGENCE in the market, strengthening brand awareness and community presence.
- Lead, coach, and develop store teams to achieve performance goals and long‑term career growth within the organization.
- Attract, hire, and retain top‑tier retail talent.
- Manage and resolve workplace conflict in a professional and effective manner.
- Conduct and lead store meetings as required by business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable legal/safety regulations.
- Continuously motivate and upskill teams through ongoing coaching and training.
- Oversee accuracy of all inventory processes, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and adjustments in alignment with company standards.
- Ensure timely execution of merchandise receipts, transfers, and inventory movement.
