Overview
Position Summary:
Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards, organizes the Tire and Battery Center (TBC), presents merchandise, monitors tire and battery orders, provides member service, drives sales and service excellence, triages service workflow, demonstrates safety compliance, leverages technology, advocates brand, enables payments, complies with policies, and supports team development.
- Maintain facility and sales floor safety by conducting regular safety sweeps, handling forklift and hazardous materials, complying with steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Ensure the TBC sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised per company policies.
- Present and maintain merchandise displays, sign and price goods, and secure fragile/high‑shrink items.
- Monitor tire and battery orders, assist members with appointments, communicate lead‑time changes, and suggest alternatives.
- Provide expert member service and recommendations using Sam’s Garage, product knowledge, and reference materials.
- Drive sales and service excellence by communicating value and collaborating with associates across the club.
- Triage and prioritize service workflow in the TBC service bays, understanding queue and time requirements.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety compliance, industry guidelines, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques.
- Leverage technology to enhance operations with digital tools and handheld devices.
- Serve as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service, and develop team members through training.
- Provide products and services to members, operate TBC equipment, handle merchandise logistics, and process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, setting priorities, and adapting to change.

- Valid state‑issued driver's license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Auto service industry, Retail Experience.
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
