- Vacation:
Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of active, full‑time service. Eligible employees receive an additional week (40 hours) of vacation after completing one year of active employment and two weeks (80 hours) of vacation on each anniversary date thereafter (adjusted in accordance with state/local requirements) up to 120 hours after five years. - Sick/Pleasant:
Eligible employees are granted 8 hours after six months of employment to be used before their first anniversary and 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2‑5). 24 hours after five years. - Employee discounts are available to all employees on the first day of active employment.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promote a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations, and ensuring compliance with asset‑protection and inventory control policies.
The Store Manager reports to the area’s District Manager.
- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and swiftly addressing issues.
- Assist in training pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures protect assets.
- Maintain asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and self‑development training.
- Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Willingness to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate and skilled with POS and office machines.
- Multi‑task ability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Managers receive a commission based off the store’s monthly gross profit. Detailed information is provided during the interview process.
