Hourly base pay $13.70 - $20.53, varies by location and qualifications, with potential commission or incentive program
Shift
:
Monday – Friday, 12:00pm to 9:00pm (Travel percentage applies)
- Provide front‑line support to customers by locating vehicles and keys, ensuring a smooth lot experience
- Perform basic data entry into the AS400 computer system
- Maintain constant communication with commercial accounts, customer support, auction personnel, and supervisors to coordinate lot operations
- Answer phones, support lot operations employees, and deliver excellent customer service
- Respond to customer requests and ensure timely resolution
- Assist manager with departmental scheduling, temporary agency coordination, and employee absence tracking
- Process all lot operations department paperwork and forward invoices and items to appropriate areas promptly
- Help coordinate sale day line‑up and execute sale day activities (e.g., drive, assist customers locating vehicles)
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety procedures and modeling safety behaviors
- Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Safe driver with a valid driver’s license; able to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles
- Basic mechanical knowledge (flat tires, low gas, jump‑starting vehicles)
- Preferably 6 months of auction or driving experience
- Knowledge of lot operations and lot layout preferred
- Knowledge of LDM preferred
- Stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear in a commercial environment
- Vision: clear distance and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Stand for prolonged periods and walk long distances
- Lift 1–15 pounds
- Work outdoors in constant weather conditions and moderate noise level
- Pre‑employment drug test required (marijuana not tested for this position)
- Workplace is drug‑free; possession, use, or influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles is prohibited
- Minimum of sixteen hours paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per calendar year
