Job Overview
As a Floor Leader, you'll support the Store Management Team across all areas of the business, leading the shop floor to achieve sales goals and create an exceptional customer experience. Your day-to-day will involve inspiring a team of sales associates, fostering a culture of passion and positivity, and contributing to operational excellence.
Hours: 20‑29 hours per week
Responsibilities- Driving Sales: Use the Store Force dashboard to coach the sales team, adjust shop floor structure to exceed sales goals, and drive contribution of your segments to overall store sales.
- Customer
Experience:
Deliver world‑class service on the shop floor, lead product demonstrations, listen to consultations, and exceed daily sales goals. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values such as fighting animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging, and promote community engagement.
- Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and provide informed recommendations.
- Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge, seek feedback, and elevate team performance.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication, listen to perspectives, and foster belonging through teamwork and recognition.
- Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage customer transactions, register openings/closings, reconcile drawers, prepare deposits, and secure the store.
- Time and Attendance: Lead by example in punctuality, monitor breaks, and ensure team members are informed of tasks.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, and adjust displays in real‑time.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training.
- Minimum 1 year of problem‑solving in customer service day‑to‑day operations.
- Minimum 1 year in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Experience analyzing sales metrics.
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
$16.50 – $16.50 USD per hour
