Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Bakery
Food and Consumable associates are focused on taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer.
What you’ll doOur customers rely on fresh food and grocery associates to make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables. In this role you will:
- Work in the deli, front‑line customer service and ensure a positive experience.
- Assist customers in the bakery, helping decorate cakes and support special moments.
- Serve the dry grocery department, making sure customers find the items they are looking for.
- Maintain detailed cleaning of shelves and departments, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lesser quality food products.
- Help customers find the products they are looking for.
- Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
- Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
- Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
- Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
- Keep area clean, sanitized and customer‑ready.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. In specific circumstances, premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
