The Operations Assistant will perform daily operational tasks to assist in ensuring the sales floor is thoroughly supported and provide excellent client experience through efficient product flow, follow‑up cadence, precise client communication, and overall support of the stylists and client relationships. Additionally, they may establish and maintain a client base to support the boutique’s sales goal.
Responsibilities- General sales support—supporting the sales team with expediting stock for stylists and assisting with client appointments
- Consistently delivers memorable in‑store experiences, establishes deep client connections, and drives repeat business
- Always puts the client first when resolving issues, exceeding expectations
- Cashier duties—processing transactions and accommodating selling process needs urgently
- Supports operational functions such as opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and daily revenue reporting
- Processes store transfers, RTVs, and client send sales
- Provides updates to stylists/management on stock and transfer arrivals
- Follows up on alterations and repairs
- Assists with stock‑room maintenance and organization
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Minimum of two years in a luxury retail environment
- Highly organized and able to multitask in an extremely fast‑paced environment
- Elevated interpersonal and communication skills, providing exceptional client service
- Aptitude for resolving issues effectively with a client‑focused mindset
- Foreign language skills a plus
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, climb stairs/ladders, and occasionally bend or kneel to access merchandise. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; constant communication and visual focus required. Occasionally lift, carry, or move merchandise and fixtures up to 25 lbs.
