• Provide excellent customer service to the public and co‑workers.
• Assist customers on the store floor and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Properly bag groceries and carry out groceries for customers when requested.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store, including the produce department.
• Retrieve and store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, and maintain check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area and perform routine physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Follow written and oral instructions and present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.

• Read and write Spanish and English fluently; interact effectively with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Basic computer skills using PC and Outlook.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
