Position Summary:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. This role offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused position, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing, checking in vendors, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments (including photo and beauty), ensure departments are stocked and operational with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth and development.
• Embrace and promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support health goals.

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.

• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible weight regularly to move objects (including overhead lifting).
• Visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
