Grocery Manager

Grocery Managers are responsible for managing department inventory, in-stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operational processes to company standards. This position is essential in ensuring that products are handled properly, rotated to ensure freshness, and that date controls are performed. Also, responsible for ordering, vendor communications, compliance and sanitation, back room inventory and controls. They will plan, order, and process grocery products according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit.

Grocery Managers will ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and building of displays.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must successfully pass Math, Cashier, and Physical Test.
• Must have at least 3 years' experience in grocery department operations.
• Food Safety Certification
