Account Executive, CoStar Data & Analytics - Dallas, TX
Role Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling new business while managing and growing your client portfolio through the value of CoStar products. This is a consultative role that empowers you to build relationships, engage new clients, and oversee the entire sales process from start to finish.
- Sell New Business:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of our product to the commercial real estate industry and beyond. - Account Management:
Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth with tailored solutions. - End-to-End Sales Process:
Leverage expertise through the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing clients. - Building Relationships:
Conduct in-person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other commercial real estate professionals. - Brand Ambassador:
Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long-term relationships and a professional network. - #1 Commercial Real Estate Brand:
Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers and proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Experience in client management and post-sale activities.
- Current and valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling data, research, and analytic platforms or related areas (e.g., commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, information providers).
- Client-facing experience in the commercial real estate industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities; results-focused with customer satisfaction and market knowledge.
