Business Development Account Executive

WFAA/KFAA/WFAA+ is seeking a highly motivated, digitally savvy New Business Development Account Executive to join our highly skilled, revenue-focused team.

This is an opportunity for a driven self-starter who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, and building new relationships. The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating business conversations with owners and decision-makers and is eager to grow into a successful media seller across broadcast, streaming, and digital solutions.

This role is built for someone who is competitive, coachable, and not afraid to pick up the phone, walk into a business, or create opportunity where none currently exists.

Ideal Candidate Will
  • Prospect daily through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person engagement.
  • Generate new business across linear, CTV/OTT, streaming, and digital solutions.
  • Confidently lead introductory business conversations with local owners and marketing decision-makers.
  • Operate with a strong hunter mentality and high activity levels.
  • Demonstrate curiosity about clients’ businesses and marketing objectives.
  • Embrace coaching and feedback with a strong desire to improve.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline management.
  • Achieve and exceed new business revenue goals.
Requirements
  • 1–3+ years of sales experience preferred (media not required).
  • Strong digital fluency and ability to have meaningful business conversations.
  • Demonstrated resilience, competitiveness, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • CRM proficiency preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
