Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday (2 client-facing events/month)

Job Summary:

The New Business Advisor plays a key role in generating new business revenue by prospecting new clients, analyzing carrier options, and providing custom solutions tailored to each client’s insurance needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify clients’ needs and advise the best options for each client across a variety of carriers.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals by actively prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Strengthen client relationships by providing exceptional, top-tier customer service with consistent follow-through.
  • Attend two client-facing events per month.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
  • Self-starter mentality driven to achieve goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Meticulous and able to carefully review insurance policies and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established processes.
  • Proactive mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction by adeptly addressing client concerns, providing clear answers to questions, and offering effective solutions.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new web-based software programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
  • Active Property & Casualty license
  • High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands
  • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a headset, and printer.
  • Regular use of computer systems and phone calls, requiring prolonged screen time and phone conversations.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally attend client-facing events outdoors.
