This job is a member of the Lending Solutions team within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for working directly with Loan Officers and American Airlines Credit Union members to make the lending experience the best it can be.

• Answers a high volume of calls in the Phone Loan Department
• Collects data and documentation for loan applications in compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures and NCUA regulations
• Inputs data in LINK loan origination system
• Closes and disburses loan funds
• Cross sells additional loan products
• Completes electronic documents
• Processes mail, faxes and emails
• May be required to work a rotating Saturday schedule
• The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information and for ensuring that work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Previous lending experience in a credit union, bank or finance company
• Previous knowledge of Synapsys, LINK and Episys systems
• Previous understanding of pay statements, vehicle purchase orders and credit reports
• Previous experience in a sales-culture environment

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Ability to exercise excellent member and customer service skills
• Possess above-average professional telephone skills
• Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
• Above average ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
• Ability to adapt well to change
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
• Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
• Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
• Must pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
