A fast-growing leader in the fire and life safety industry is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Founding Sales Representative to spearhead their expansion across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area. Backed by an established operations team and proven service model, this is a rare opportunity to be the first sales hire, setting the tone and foundation for a scalable, outbound-focused sales strategy.
This is the ideal role for a tenacious self-starter who thrives in a high-autonomy, early-stage environment. You'll play a critical role in generating pipeline, acquiring new business, and shaping the sales culture from the ground up. With strong growth plans and leadership potential built in, this position is your runway to a future sales leadership role.
Key Responsibilities Drive Revenue Growth- Launch and lead outbound sales efforts in the DFW area, focused on recurring service agreements and compliance-driven inspections.
- Personally prospect and build a qualified pipeline through cold outreach, in-person visits, and networking.
- Penetrate key verticals including property management, healthcare, data centers, and commercial real estate.
- Position long-term value offerings, including testing, inspections, maintenance, and monitoring agreements.
- Qualify, present, negotiate, and close deals end-to-end with limited internal hand-holding.
- Conduct site visits to identify pain points and propose custom service solutions.
- Collaborate with service and technical teams to develop winning proposals and ensure customer success post-sale.
- Create structure where little exists today—help formalize CRM usage, processes, pricing strategies, and outreach cadences.
- Deliver market insights to leadership and provide feedback to improve service offerings and go-to-market strategy.
- Influence future sales hires, playbooks, and territory development.
- 5+ years of B2B field sales experience, with a hunter mindset and strong track record of building pipeline from scratch.
- Experience selling technical field services such as fire protection, building systems, or other compliance-driven solutions is highly preferred.
- Natural relationship builder comfortable selling into a variety of facilities teams, building owners, and property managers.
- Able to succeed in low-structure environments without a detailed playbook, CRM discipline already built-in.
- Strong presentation, quoting, and solution-based selling skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the local market.
