As a Service Sales Manager for Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique division (Airmac), you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers within the Dallas, TX territories.
ResponsibilitiesProduct Sales (80%) – Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in the assigned area. Achieve and exceed sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and markets, and to project the number of contacts to be made. Manage, call on, and sell service products including service plans, fixed pricing repairs, overhauls, etc., to customers in the assigned area.
Follow up on new leads, referrals, and “Lost Boy’s” from field and telemarketing activity. Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers, particularly key accounts. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, introduce new products and service upgrades, research solutions to customer problems, study customer needs, and coordinate prime equipment sales with Sales Managers. Support or develop local distributors when they exist.
Actively engage in planned prospecting activities to increase the customer base and market share. Maintain customer base, sales activities, opportunities, quotations, and leads on a daily basis within C4C, and uphold the highest standards of customer service.
Personal Development (10%) – Update product and sales/marketing knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and joining professional organizations. Utilize the Business Portal and continually work toward personal growth.
Reporting (10%) – Prepare reports on activity, lost orders, closings, follow‑up, and performance against budget. Provide monthly reports and expense reports in a timely manner. Report on special developments, information, or feedback from field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes, and competitive evaluation.
Qualifications- 2+ years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in the compressed air industry.
- Four‑year degree in business, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- Self‑directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven business analysis skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

- Salary range $65,000 – $80,000, depending on experience and skills, with geography‑adjusted compensation. Annual income with monthly commission; targeted salary for the first year up to $100,000 based on sales volume.
This is a hybrid role. The territory encompasses a radius of one to one and a half hours surrounding the Dallas, Texas area.
