Commercial Estimator​/Sales - Garland Insulating

Job Description

As a Commercial Estimator/Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling product lines to residential and light commercial accounts. You will ideally have experience in sales in the construction industry and will be motivated and aggressive in finding new accounts and building trusted relationships.

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions, change order management and association involvement.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand market conditions, product innovations, competitor products, prices and sales to adjust strategy.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products or construction.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle if required.

• Travel:
  Local, >50% of time.
• Physical:
  Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted; work at installation sites may require ladder climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crawling, bending, driving, and prolonged sitting or standing.

Base salary range: $30,000.00 - $ (within the range actual base salary varies by role specifics).
