Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will sell products offered by the company to current and new clientele.

Duties/Responsibilities
:

  • Identify prospects using hospital and business directories, area networks, as well as leads from existing clients, marketing activities and convention attendance.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts. Identify new product opportunities and maximize product portfolio within existing accounts.
  • Schedule sales presentations, mainly with anesthesia and radiology departments as well as purchasing and administrative decision makers.
  • Consult with Physicians to evaluate their needs and demonstrate the complete product portfolio.
  • Schedule and manage product evaluations.
  • Close deals in a timely manner after product evaluation.
  • Assist with account set up.
  • Attend conventions, trade-shows and workshops.
  • Identify market needs. Communicate market trends and customer needs with marketing and company management.
  • Other related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities
:

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethics.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Team player.
  • Consultant to a variety of decision makers in the hospital/surgery center market.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Quick learner.

Education and Experience
:

  • Experience in the hospital/surgery center environment is a plus.

    E.g. vendor credentialing, sunshine act, etc.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
  • At least five years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements
:

  • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
