Counter Sales Representative – Construction Supply Industry

Barnsco Texas is looking for a motivated Counter Sales Representative to join our growing team in Fort Worth. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and an interest in the construction, concrete, or industrial supply industry.

• Provide counter sales and inside sales support to walk-in customers and phone inquiries
• Process and manage customer orders, returns, and special orders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
• Upsell and recommend additional products to support customer projects
• Maintain accurate and timely order entry and open order tracking
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and showroom organization
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure order accuracy and delivery timelines
• Learn and promote all Barnsco product lines including construction supplies and equipment

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, counter sales, retail sales, or customer service (preferred)
• Experience in construction materials, building supplies, or industrial sales is a plus
• Strong communication skills (in-person and phone)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
